I am a dedicated and compassionate trustee of My Basic Needs Charity Foundation (MBNCF), bringing with me a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping those in need.
As an experienced nurse in the UK, I have spent years caring for others and demonstrating unwavering dedication to health, wellbeing and community service.
My professional background gives me valuable insight into the challenges faced by underprivileged children, particularly in accessing basic needs such as food, clothing and essential care. Beyond my career, I am a loving wife, mother and proud grandmother, deeply rooted in family values and the importance of giving back.
My passion for empowering communities and improving the lives of disadvantaged children aligns perfectly with MBNCF's mission. Through my role as a trustee, I play a key part in shaping the Foundation's vision, supporting initiatives and ensuring lasting impact. My experience, wisdom and nurturing spirit make me an invaluable asset to the charity and the many children it serves.

Read biography
Caesar has broad teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Audit and Assurance, and Management Accounting. His expertise spans education, leadership and corporate governance.
He has audited non-governmental organisations and charities. Since 2016, he has served as a trustee and secretary to the trustees of The Apostolic Church-Ghana.
Caesar holds a master's degree in Higher Education and a master's degree in Business Administration. His teaching-related qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, DET and CELTA. He is also part-qualified with ACCA and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

My name is Ifeanyi Nwaru. I am a passionate and dedicated individual, balancing the roles of a loving father and a driven businessman. My family is at the heart of everything I do, and I believe in leading by example by instilling the values of kindness, empathy and hard work in my children. As a father, I strive to provide a nurturing environment where love, respect and personal growth flourish.
Professionally, I am a successful businessman with a clear vision and a strong work ethic. With an MSc in health-related matters, I continually push myself to expand my knowledge, refine my skills and explore new opportunities for growth. I believe in the power of education and the importance of lifelong learning, and I carry these principles with me in both my personal and professional life.
My approach to business is rooted in integrity, innovation and creating meaningful connections. I value the relationships I build with clients, partners and colleagues, always working towards mutual success and growth.

Hillary Ngozi Okere is a dedicated spiritual leader, former technician and passionate servant of God based in Lagos, Nigeria. His journey is one of transformation, from a skilled technician to an impactful prophet and pastor.
After completing his college education, Hillary trained for four years as a technician and gained valuable technical skills. His expertise led him to a key role at Lagos International Airport, where he worked as a Senior Supervisor for a cleaning firm, overseeing operations and ensuring a high standard of service.
Today, Hillary Okere is the Senior Pastor of Christ Divine Healing Ministry, where he leads with compassion, dedication and spiritual wisdom. Under his leadership, the ministry has grown, touching many lives and offering healing, guidance and hope to individuals seeking spiritual growth.

Hawanatu Turay

Hawanatu Turay is a highly skilled professional with a diverse background in mental health nursing, finance and fraud examination. With postgraduate-level expertise in mental health nursing, she brings a deep understanding of patient care, clinical practice and healthcare management.
In addition to her nursing qualifications, Hawanatu holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from one of the UK's top universities, with key expertise in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Audit and Assurance, and Management Accounting. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and is part-qualified with ACCA, demonstrating strong analytical and investigative skills in financial compliance and risk management.
Furthering her multidisciplinary expertise, she is currently pursuing an MSc in Health Economics and Policy, allowing her to bridge the gap between healthcare delivery and financial sustainability. Her background also includes extensive customer service experience, having worked as a manager in a leading UK food chain, where she developed leadership, operational and client relationship management skills.
With a unique blend of healthcare, finance and management expertise, Hawanatu is well-positioned to contribute to diverse professional environments, particularly in healthcare finance, fraud prevention and strategic policy development.

David Zamana Wandaat

David Zamana Wandaat is a distinguished Ghanaian professional with expertise in both Human Resource Management and Journalism. With a strong academic background and years of experience in both fields, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
He holds an MSc in Public Administration from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a BSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). His academic journey has equipped him with in-depth knowledge of governance, administrative strategies and human capital development.
David currently serves as an Assistant Human Resource Manager at Local Government Services (2022-present), where he plays a crucial role in organisational development and personnel management. Alongside his HR career, he has been the General Manager of Lom Community Radio since 2010, contributing significantly to media and community engagement.
A member of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and Human Resource Practitioners (HRP), David is passionate about public speaking, fostering professional relationships and using technology for efficient administration.
Beyond his professional life, he enjoys reading legal journals and travelling, and he is an active human rights advocate. His dedication to both the corporate and media sectors highlights his ability to bridge governance, communication and societal development effectively.

Vicky Newton, traditionally known as Nana Ekua Konuaba UK & Ireland, is an entrepreneur, property management consultant, and radio and television host. Through a variety of platforms, she has had the opportunity to inspire others.
Vicky has always been motivated to address social injustice and empower the next generation. Drawing on her experience with numerous charitable foundations in the United Kingdom, she is proud to serve as an Executive of My Basic Needs Charity Foundation.

Duut Banleeman Rafiq
Read biography
Duut Banleeman Rafiq was born in Bunkpurugu in Ghana's North East Region on 4 April 1957. He attended Zongo Primary School, continued to middle school in Zabzugu, and began his secondary education at Nalerigu Secondary School in 1973, completing it in 1978.
He began his career with the Ministry of Agriculture as a Technical Assistant in the Plant Protection and Quarantine Department. After a long career in public service, he retired in 2017. He continues to support his community through voluntary service with a radio station in Bunkpurugu.
