My Basic Needs Charity Foundation wants this website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technology.

Our accessibility aim
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably achievable. Accessibility is considered in navigation, colour contrast, keyboard operation, focus visibility, responsive layouts, form labels, touch targets and reduced-motion preferences.
The site is designed to work on current versions of common browsers and on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
Keyboard and focus
Interactive controls are intended to be reachable by keyboard, with visible focus indication and an accessible skip link.
Responsive and readable
Layouts reflow across screen sizes, text is designed for comfortable reading and essential controls use practical touch-target sizes.
Reduced motion
People who request reduced motion through their device settings should receive a simplified, near-static experience.
Known limitations and third-party services
Some content or interfaces supplied by third-party services, including payment components, embedded media or externally hosted documents, may not offer exactly the same level of accessibility as the main website.
Legacy photographs may have limited source descriptions. We are improving alternative text and page structure as content is reviewed or replaced.
