These terms govern your use of the My Basic Needs Charity Foundation website and its online forms, donation facilities and information.

About us and acceptance of these terms
This website is operated for My Basic Needs Charity Foundation, Registered Charity No. 1196681, at 37 Aluric Close, Chadwell St Mary, Grays, Essex.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit information through its forms. Separate written terms may apply to a particular partnership, programme, event, employment, volunteer role or supplier relationship.
Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the website for lawful personal, charitable or organisational purposes, including learning about MBNCF, contacting us, donating or submitting an appropriate proposal.
You must not:
• attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or introduce malicious code;
• submit information that is unlawful, false, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, infringing or harmful;
• impersonate MBNCF or another person;
• scrape, overload, automate or reproduce the site in a way that disrupts service or violates rights;
• use beneficiary information or imagery for exploitation, harassment or unauthorised identification; or
• use the MBNCF name, logo or charitable status to solicit money, goods or support without permission.
Website information and programme status
We aim to keep published information accurate and current, but charitable activities, costs, local conditions, funding, beneficiaries and future plans can change. Figures described as approximate, estimated, planned, aspirational or to be confirmed should be understood accordingly.
Website content is general information, not professional, legal, medical, financial or safeguarding advice. Contact MBNCF before relying on information for a transaction, journey, collection, event or programme decision.
Donations, recurring gifts and Gift Aid
Donation amounts and frequencies are shown before confirmation. A payment provider may apply its own terms and security checks. A donation is complete only when the transaction is successfully processed or an offline payment is received and confirmed.
Where a recurring gift is available, you authorise repeated payments at the frequency selected until cancellation. Contact MBNCF or use the donor facility available to you to request cancellation before the next scheduled charge.
Donations are normally intended as final charitable gifts. Contact us promptly if a payment was duplicated, unauthorised, made in error or affected by a technical problem. Any refund will be considered in light of the circumstances, payment-provider rules and the Foundation’s legal duties.
A Gift Aid declaration must be accurate. You are responsible for confirming your eligibility and notifying MBNCF if your circumstances or declaration change.
Forms, volunteering, partnerships, fundraising and goods
Submitting a form expresses interest or makes an offer; it does not create a role, partnership, contract, authorisation or obligation for MBNCF to accept goods, provide funding, approve an event or proceed with a programme.
Volunteering may require checks, references, training, supervision and safeguarding controls. Fundraising using the MBNCF name or logo requires written approval. Goods must not be collected, shipped or delivered until the Foundation confirms suitability and arrangements.
Where the parties decide to proceed with a material partnership, service, sponsorship, grant, event or programme, separate written terms may be required.
Intellectual property and content use
Unless stated otherwise, website text, design, branding, logos and original media are owned by or licensed to MBNCF. You may view and share links to public pages for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy substantial content, alter or remove attribution, imply endorsement, create misleading fundraising material, commercially exploit content or use the logo without permission. Rights in third-party photographs, illustrations, software and embedded services remain with their respective owners.
Third-party links and service availability
Links to external websites or services are provided for convenience and do not automatically mean that MBNCF controls, approves or accepts responsibility for their content, privacy or availability.
We may change, suspend, restrict or withdraw part of the website for maintenance, security, legal compliance or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
Responsibility, governing law and contact
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, MBNCF is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, arose from misuse of the website, or resulted from a third-party service outside its reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you elsewhere.
